World Free TV Privacy Policy

World Free TV is operated by ClearPath Digital. World Free TV helps users browse and watch free live TV streams from public and free-to-air sources around the world.

Information the App Handles

The app can save viewing preferences such as favorite channels, caption settings, selected source, locked channel IDs, and channel health check results. If you choose Google sign-in, the app may receive your Google account name, email address, and Firebase user identifier so preferences can sync to your signed-in profile.

How Information Is Used

World Free TV uses saved preferences to show favorites, remember caption and source settings, restore channel health labels, and sync supported preferences across devices when you are signed in.

Local Data

The app stores preferences in private app storage on your device. Custom playlist URLs remain local-only. Channel lock passwords are not stored as plain text; the app stores a salted password hash locally on the device.

Cloud Sync

If you sign in with Google, supported preferences can be stored in Firebase under your own user account. Firestore security rules are designed so users can read and write only their own World Free TV preference document.

Video Streams and Third Parties

World Free TV does not host TV channels and does not sell TV subscriptions. When you play a channel, your device connects to the public stream provider for that channel. Those providers may receive standard network information such as IP address, device request details, and playback requests according to their own policies.

Data Sharing

ClearPath Digital does not sell user data. The app does not use advertising SDKs. Data is shared only as needed for app functionality, such as Google sign-in, Firebase sync, Cast services, and direct playback requests to selected stream providers.

Data Deletion

You can delete local app data by clearing World Free TV storage in Android settings or uninstalling the app. To request deletion of cloud-synced World Free TV preference data, contact ClearPath Digital at the email below from the same Google account used in the app.

Security

World Free TV uses Android app-private storage for local preferences and encrypted network connections where supported by Google, Firebase, and stream providers. No method of storage or transmission is guaranteed to be completely secure, so users should protect their device and account.

Children

World Free TV is a general entertainment utility and is not directed to children under 13. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated when World Free TV's features or data practices change. The effective date will be updated when a new version is published.
